He is a holder of Bachelor of Business Management specialising in Accounting, a Certified Public Accountant and a registered full member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

CPA Odero possesses extensive technical competence in accounting, external auditing, and financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted in Tanzania other regulatory frameworks applicable in East Africa.
